Meet Your 2020-2021 HOSA Officers!

Violet Nimz-Moore is our Vice President of public relations

I went to my first HOSA meeting the beginning of my sophomore year. I had no idea what to expect. All I knew about HOSA was that it was an organization for those interested in the medical field. When I walked in, all the officers and past members were incredibly welcoming and left me exceedingly excited to become a SPASH HOSA member! HOSA is such a fun way to gain volunteer, leadership, and competitive experience in and outside of the medical field. I joined HOSA not just for all the awesome things the organization accomplishes but for the amazing HOSA family the comes with it. Throughout my years as a member, I've found that HOSA unlocks the doors to new possibilities and new friendships! It's truly a wonderful thing to be a part of.

Julia Lang is our Vice President of finance.

I joined HOSA beginning of sophomore year. I wanted to be apart of an organization that was healthcare centered and HOSA was a perfect fit for me! Through HOSA, I have been able to express my interests in the healthcare field and build relationships with others who have a passion for healthcare. HOSA has opened many health related opportunities for me to participate in, such as volunteering at a blood drive and creating a community awareness competitive event. As a member of HOSA, I have been able to experience new opportunities and unlock new potentials.

Taylor Davis is our Vice President of competitive events

Hey! I'm Taylor Davis. I am a senior this year and I have been in HOSA for 2 years and originally wanted to join HOSA because it sounded like a fun way to meet new people who have the same interest in the health field!

Lucy Pacyna is our Vice President of records.

Hi everyone, my name is Lucy Pacyna. I am a senior, and this is my second year in HOSA. I joined HOSA because I have always been interested in the health field and wanted to be a part of an organization who focused on it. Not only does HOSA focus on healthcare related topics, but being in HOSA also teaches leadership, cooperation, and community service skills. It is a wonderful organization to be a part of during your high school education!

Cassie Schultz is our president.

When I joined HOSA my sophomore year, I didn't expect it to become such an important part of my life. I was drawn in by my budding interest in the medical field, but what kept me involved was the strong sense of community among members. Through participation committees, competitive events, and chapter service projects, I've met so many amazing people and had the opportunity to positively impact myself, school, and community. As a senior, I'm excited to expand my involvement in HOSA as a member of the executive committee. This year, I hope to help cultivate a positive chapter environment and provide opportunities for members to shine.
